![]() If you manage to put together a party of 4 to get through these, bring along a lot of silent oils and prism powders, because you won't be able to rely on casters down here (prism powders behind the second gate, silent oils everywhere else). As mentioned in the description above, all spawn points are behind the second and third banishing gates. With a little luck you'll walk out of Garlaige with one key each and a hell of a lot of experience points, because the drop rate is good and this is one of the earliest opportunities to truly understand the power of a bones party.įinding the coffer is a different matter. Try to put together a coffer key / experience points party with 2 Monks and one of each of the above jobs, because Fallen are prime experience from about levels 52-55. ![]() It drops off of the Fallen (skeletons) deep in Garlaige Citadel, and jobs who require this coffer are MNK, PLD, RDM, WHM, and BLM - which just happens to be an ideal bones party setup. This key is an exceptionally fun and easy one to get for Monks, in my opinion. I'm sure a lot of people would like to ignore the AF hands quest for other jobs, and that information is misleading. So if possible this guide needs to be changed a little. Update: Opened the coffer this morning with AF2 quest flagged but no Borghertz's Striking Hands quest, so apparently it holds true to all pre-expansion AF. >.> I'll go test it in Beadeaux later today if time permits. I suppose there's a small chance that monk is different than other jobs and requires AF hands quest flagged to get other coffer AF, but I kind of doubt it. =P You do need the AF2 quest triggered for every job to open coffer AF, however. ![]() I have several sets of incomplete AF in my storage that are only missing the hands quest.which I never activate because you can't cancel it without clearing memories. I'm also positive that you don't have to have Borghertz's Striking Hands quest to open AF coffers. You have to *start* the AF2 quest before Guslam will give you his AF hands quest. Going to post this really quickly anyway since I'm sure others will come here with the same question. ![]() This is a really late reply, and I'm sure you've already figured it out. ![]()
